Oil cake from expellers is taken to the extractor where food grade n-hexane is used as solvent. By counter current system of extraction, oil content in the cake is reduced to 0.5% to 1%. De-oiled Cake is De-solventised and toasted upto 100 Degrees centigrade before sending for bagging. Oil + n-hexane (Miscella) is distilled, hexane vapours are condensed and recycled. Oil is taken to storage tanks.
